Refund policy

Most of the products we sell are custom made skin care, beauty, and personal care products. We have a no return policy on these items. A refund or exchange will only be provided on a product if the product or packaging was defective or unusable. 

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To request a refund or exchange,  you can contact us in writing at southshorecustomsoaps.com. and describe in detail the nature of your request for a refund or exchange, and specifics about the defective product or packaging.

All refund or exchange decisions will be solely at the discretion of South Shore Custom Soaps and its entities. We reserve the right to refuse any refund or exchange at any time.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Cancellations may be accepted at the discretion of South Shore Custom Soaps within 24 hours of purchase in writing by sending us an email:southshorecustomsoaps@gmail.com with your name, date, order number, reason for requesting cancellation, and order total.


Exchanges
Customer will assume responsibility for shipping charges incurred for an exchange product. In the event that we do provide and exchange for your product, it will be for the same exact product only. If you do not wish to receive an exchange, and we are unable to issue you a refund, we may, at our discretion, issue you a gift card for future use on another online purchase. 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received your refund request and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at southshorecustomsoapscom. with your name, address including city, state, and zip code, your order number, date of purchase, and sale amount.
